UPDATE: Rio Raffle is ON if we hit $50k and we’re nearly there!
It’s Tuesday morning and our crowdfunding campaign has 4 days to go. With momentum exploding thanks to large donations off the Indiegogo platform yesterday, we’re now at $39,423, over 50% of our crowdfunding goal! We have now decided to run the Rio Raffle if we hit $50,000, rather than waiting until the full target total as planned. So if we can raise another $10,000 before Friday, all our collaborators this year—including those who’ve donated in this campaign—will be entered for a chance to visit us with a friend for a week in Rio next year! So start envisioning yourself lying by the pool featured above, and please spread the word, use these cover/profile shots on your Facebook profile this week, and help us reach our goal by Friday!
Reminder of what the Rio Raffle winner receives:
- Round-trip flights for two to Rio de Janeiro during low season, or one during high season.
- 7 nights at poolside guesthouse bed and breakfast in Santa Teresa (pictured below), Rio’s charming centrally located, bohemian and best preserved historic neighborhood.
- Up to 2 private Educational Favela Visits with community leader and CatComm team.
