Catalytic Communities supports researchers committed to deepening understanding and knowledge on favelas in constructive ways that support their inclusive development. We do this both by taking on independent researchers as interns, who carry out research projects under the guise of CatComm with access to our networks and direction, and by offering strategic and logistical support to institutional researchers–MA, doctoral students, or academics looking for a critical perspective, ideas about productive lines for research, contacts, and more.
